It was certainly an honour to be able to provide an hour or so of entertainment for the residence of the Village Glen Aged Care Residence in Mornington last week. We chose tracks from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, Roy Orbison, The Beatles, The Drifters, Bobby Darin, Cliff Richard and the like, and it was extremely satisfying to see that we had made the right selection of material to present You could see it in the smiles on their faces, almost everyone sang along, clapped and tapped to the beat and had some fun. Awesome to see, with the support of their fabulous staff, several dancers strutting their stuff. Such a pity that the COVID restriction limited any sort of other interaction however, it was a great afternoon and such an honour to perform. Looking forward to contributing again.
