RATES: I offer competitive rates and welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs and confirm and agree the outlay and the desired outcome. I would note that we seldom stop playing, just because the time is up, but will continue to play if the place is still buzzing and they’re calling for more.
ENGINEERING: I use up-to-date digital mixers, active PA systems and either wired or wireless microphone systems and will tailor the PA requirements to the venue and generally for indoors and for up to thirty people, I would select a smaller column array PA that provides a comfortable listening level and is compact and unobtrusive. For forty to sixty people, I would select a dual stand mounted PA system that provides good projection and clarity, and for larger audiences, I would add additional sub speakers to maintain a consistent presentation across the complete frequency spectrum. For outdoors I will select as appropriate.
FORMAT: I offer a number of formats that are designed to fit the venue or the event requirements. Acoustic. A mix of tracks that will include just acoustic guitars and vocals and some supported by basic bass and percussion backing tracks. Acoustic/Electric. A broader presentation using some backing tracks allowing me to offer a good mix of softer rock, ballad and pop tracks Electric. Dance, Rock’n’Roll, Pop, sit and listen or get up and boogie tracks, and of course I can mix and match to cater for a particular need or requirement.
The show will consist of 50 minute sets, 10 minute breaks, and background music played in between and I provide microphones for any required speeches or announcements.
ACCESS: I would like access to the venue a minimum of 1 hour before to ensure setup is completed with no inconvenience to patrons and will provide background music up till kick-off
